| Nitza Milagros Escalera (Chair) is a founder and member of the Board of Directors of Pasos Peace Museum. Currently she serves as the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs at Fordham University School of Law where she also teaches a seminar titled, Negotiation and Mediation: A Cross-Cultural Perspective. Escalera also teaches a course on Race and Ethnicity at John Jay College. In addition to her volunteer work with PASOS, Escalera serves on the Mayors Advisory Committee on the Judiciary. She is former fellow of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute and of the Coro Fellow's Leadership Program. Escalera received an Ed.M. in Peace Education from Teachers College, Columbia University; a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, J.D.; and M.P.A. from New York University; a M.S. from Syracuse University and a B.A. from Le Moyne College. | William Repicci (Executive Director) is a senior management executive with over 25 years of experience leading nonprofit organizations and commercial businesses. Most recently he was CEO of a dramatic publishing and licensing company in NYC. His previous leadership positions include directing humanitarian programs in Kenya, field work in Cambodia, managing director of the National Theatre of the Deaf, and CEO of the Fairbanks Resource Agency serving persons with developmental disabilities in Interior and Northern Alaska. He is the owner of William Repicci Management/Productions, and has produce and/or managed over 35 plays/musicals to include Broadway, Off Broadway, London and national tours. Early in his career, he was the head of English and History Departments at Mandera Secondary School in Kenya’s NE Province. He has graduate degrees in Global Affairs (NYU); Behavioral Psychology (University of Wisconsin–Madison); Administration (Seattle University); Psychology (Catholic University of America); and a BA in Philosophy (Le Moyne College). |
